Working Together

A team is made up of many individuals, all with their own experiences, both work and life, differing levels of stress and strains and this can affect how they work within a team environment.

The aim of this workshop is to bring the team of individuals together and look into how they work together, investigate the issues that affect both the team and its members and then work to achieve actions that they can take away to improve and enhance their and their teams performance, both on a team and personal level. 

It is designed with activities to encourage team working but also to create an environment in which the individual is free to express themselves and their views to their colleagues and managers without fear of recrimination.

It is an effective way to examine how the team is working together, what affects them and how they can improve and go forward together. 

I have experienced workshops where racism within a team has been admitted, individuals feeling isolated within large teams, people feeling bullied and intimidated by members of the group, but also the positive where a team has recognised its achievements and resolved to find a better way to celebrate them. Many varied and diverse issues come to the fore during a workshop, which identifies what makes the team tick, or not.

The design of the day is tailored to the individual company and the teams involved requiring some discussions with the managers and team members involved prior to the workshop.
